Practical Information for Your Visit

Tickets for Plitvice Lakes can be purchased online in advance or at the entrance, with prices varying by season. We recommend arriving as early as possible in the morning to avoid crowds, especially in July and August. The park has two entrances: Entrance 1 (closer to the Lower Lakes and Veliki Slap) and Entrance 2 (closer to the Upper Lakes). Walking through the park takes between 2 and 8 hours depending on the chosen route. Comfortable footwear and light clothing are recommended. Food and drinks are available at the restaurant inside the park, but prices are higher than in surrounding villages.
