Slovenia — Bled and Ljubljana
Slovenia is an excellent destination for a day trip from Zagreb — it is close, no visa is required for EU citizens and it offers spectacular natural and urban attractions. Lake Bled is one of the most photogenic places in Europe — the emerald green lake with an island and a castle on a rock attracts visitors from around the world. From Zagreb to Bled is about 2 hours. Ljubljana, the Slovenian capital, is only 1.5 hours from Zagreb and offers a charming old town, castle and vibrant café culture. For a day trip you can combine Bled and Ljubljana or focus on just one destination.
Slavonia — Osijek, Đakovo and Vukovar
Slavonia is a region in eastern Croatia that is often overlooked in tourist itineraries, yet it offers rich cultural heritage, excellent gastronomy and hospitable people. Osijek is the largest city of Slavonia, known for the 18th-century Tvrđa fortress, the promenade along the Drava river and a vibrant café scene. From Zagreb to Osijek is about 2.5 hours. Venice — day trip from Zagreb

The driver takes you to the mainland car park (Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto), from where you reach the centre of Venice by vaporetto or on foot.
